My hair was super fried, I was lifting it from a 2 to light ash blonde.  Talk about breakage!!  I cut a little of the dead stuff off and it took color well, I'm loving the brunette thing these days.  My dead hair is taking and holding color much better than the fresh new hair (i have it a little darker than my natural at 1b) lol........so remember dye the roots way before the ends (20 minutes then pull through to be on the last 3-4 inches for only 10 minutes) and make sure you never use an ash brown to darken it.....GREEN!!!!!  If you want the gold without the red I use light golden brown with 1/4 black mixed in (at first I was about a 6, and that formula gave me the rich brown without the red highlights or ash green highlights).  Good luck, either way..........

Your hair is awesome!!!!!!!  You do an awesome job, it looks absolutely perfect!  May I ask what length that is?  It looks longer than 22"?
Wearing 22" 8oz Tease I tips installed with silicone microrings.

Sherrie - absolutely b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!!

I have hair envy - you've gotten me wanting to use protac tapes.  It's never long or full enough ( even when to the rest of the world it's great..hahaha).

Thanks for sharing all of your "secret" tips. Wink

Longhairaddict...

Do you still have Microrings? How do you like them? Any issues? how uncomfortable are they? I am thinking of installing with microrings and am just looking for peoples thoughts on them. The good the bad and the ugly you know. I realize this thread is really old, but I thought I would give it a shot and see if you... or anyone else with micro rings cared to reply.

Sherrie,
I cannot see your pictures on your install.  They appear with a box and a red X.  Help.

I have been reading through pages and pages of threads here and I am blown away by all the great information that has been posted over the years.  Hard to believe that this thread which was done 3 years ago has so much great layering info.  I am definitely going to research this further.  Thank you to Sherrie for her original post.

BTW....to all the newbies here....if you have the time and can read all the pages, there is amazing and helpful information about everything imaginable related to hair extensions.  I had emailed Karen Shelton to ask her some hair extension questions and she told me to look at some of the older posts.

WOW.  Great, great info.  Thank you for keeping this forum going.
