You guys were all so helpful in supplying info for my decision to go with the Bohyme French Refined. I have a question I probably should have asked before I ordered. In your experiences, are all French Refined's created equal or is the curl significantly different from maker to maker? I got my FR pinchbraided in this week and the curl is WAY WAY curly. I went through hours and hours of past threads and looked at all the install pics I could find and I see differences and descriptions. I am hoping this settles down with a few shampoos. I was under the impression bodywave lost its curl pretty quick and the FR looked so different then it acutally turned out on my head. Suggestions?

Thanks!!!

All french refined are not created equal. Every company/brand may have a different description, wave pattern or curl variation of any given texture they make compared to another company/brand.

I have found that even within the same company/brand, the amount of curl can vary.  I order from Super Hair Factory and I mentioned the difference in the curl.  They agreed, and said when I call and order, tell them if I want a FR on the curly side or the loose wavy side.

I ordered loose wave for myself and I'm happy.  I just ordered a batch for a client, and it was way curly.

ditto metalgirl....have had the same experience with Bohyme FR too. I also specify if I want a curlier or looser pattern although sometimes it may be a little culier or sometimes a little looser that what I expected, so yes it can vary even with the same company!

So is all Bohyme FR possibly different even though it is all Bohyme mfg? If so, is there anyway to tell by looking at the pkg. how the curl will be after wet?

Bohymes french refined texture in general can vary in pattern somewhat. Sometimes Ive recieved a looser pattern and sometimes Ive recieved a slighter wavier pattern. What you see is what you get basically. It doesnt drop its curl after wet. Although it may loosen 'slightly' over time.
