Sherrie, once again YOU ROCK, girl!

The last thing I've struggled with in wearing extensions is getting the wefts clean between installs. I wear mine over and over and am obsessively picky about getting them clean. I've taken literally hours, scrubbing with my nail in acetone, then washing, and picking and brushing to get all those LG boogers off the wefts and hair. Because I have wefts sewn together, the dried LG gets between the threads and is a bear to get clean.

In one of Sherrie's posts she suggested using a toothbrush to scrub the wefts in the acetone. I read it and thought, "DUH!" I use old toothbrushes for cleaning almost everything but never thought about using it this way. I took my hair down (used C-22 to get the wefts out of my hair) and then stuck the ends in a shallow bowl of acetone. I held the weft flat on the bottom of the bowl (used a sandwich size Glad plastic container) on the hair side with my left hand and used the bristles and tip of an old medium toothbrush in my right hand to scrub the LG off the wefts in the acetone. OH my gosh! It took less than ten minutes to clean all the wefts and when I washed them, not a single glue booger left!

Thank you once again, Sherrie for your fabulous helping hints! This one is amazing!
Here's to the end of my BAD HAIR LIFE!

Good idea about using the baggies...I get so pissed when removing with acetone and then all my polish or french manicure is half gone!
Thanks,
JeepGirl

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!
