I also liked her in short hair ,  but I like the bangs, if they were just a little shorter and out of her eyes. Still she looks nice.

And now she’s got longer hair and bangs and looks delightful, feminine and beautiful. A great combination.

Well I have to say I in with Kramer and Gord on this one she looks Hot with this look. Been waiting for her to grow it out for awhile now. Gald she did it.

First Natalie and now Mariska, what is Kramer thinking today.  Both are incredible with short hair.  Mariska with long hair is Soccer Mom 101.  Natalie with long hair is leftover 70's disco.  I love both of them, but they are short hair must girls.  Now, Carole Bouquet (Bond girl), definitely long is better.  She has super model qualities.  I.e....."Bond Girl".
I can barely conjure myself out of bed, let alone conjure up the devil.

It seems like she's come full circle, because if it were a little bit shorter, straighter and lighter it would be pretty much the style she had when I first saw her on ER in the mid-90s.

It looks good, but I'm with the short hair camp. I really thought she pulled short hair off beautifully, and her short styles were much more distinct and jazzy and suited to her features than this style, which is pretty but not especially interesting or flattering. She looks more like everyone else now, and I think it's always a disappointment when women don't accent what makes them unique.

Still, whatever the style, she gets me with that smile....

     Shocked I never thought that Mariska could look so beautiful. WOW! As someone who generally prefers light or no fringe, thick bangs work wonders on Mariska. I don't quite agree with that crazy Gord fellow, Kramer, that short hair made her look like a guy, but length has indeed improved Mariska's appearance multifold. Keep it growing, MH! Best, Bob Clap

IMHO, while some women can "get away with" wearing short hair (and still be very beautiful), Mariska Hargitay is not among them.  Long hair softens her prominent facial features.

I think longer hair suits Mariska's personality much more than Olivia's.  Mariska seems like the LH type, but Olivia never has, to me. . . so yeah, it's just weird when your on-screen persona is very different than your RL self. . .
