Well....I dont know what NTW means..... but you should check out my album and look through my products. I have evaluations on all of them so....it should be helpful. Also, I think that you should check out these websites that were helpful to me:
http://www.roshini.net <--- she was a real inspiration to me to start to take better care of my hair. I suggest that you go through all of her albums to see her journey to long hair.
http://www.growafrohairlong.com <----this site has alot of good tips and facts about our hair type....also it tells you info about your hair that you would have never even thought of.
By the way...I'm 15 so...I know what you mean when you say you dont have the money or that you dont know what's right for your hair...I'm just starting my journey as well so....maybe we can help each other along!
It's Kayla time!!!!

phtospecific the complete line works wonder i have been a hairstylist for 20yrs and i have never had a product so great i can't even keep it stock at my salon. good luck
If you go to vitaminshoppe.com (or the actual store,) you may find some little known shampoos and conditioners that may impress you. I don't think they have fancy labels or snazzy ad campaigns but Aubrey Organics seems "cool." I think someone here may have mentioned the brand in another thread.
I'm in!

^^You can wash AA hair daily if it works for your hair. For me it dosen't work so I don't do it. I shampoo every two weeks and it works best for me. Some people conditioner wash their hair (use conditioner instead of shampoo) because it's gentler than shampooing daily. When I say moisturize I mean to apply a water based moisturizer preferably w/ no mineral oil or petrolatum to your hair daily then seal that in w/ an oil like olive oil. A good moisturizer that I like is Cantu Break Cure.

Some of my favorite products have to be bought online but since you're 13 you probably won't be able to purchase anything online so I'll list ones that can be bought from the store.
Deep conditioner- Pantene Relaxed and Natural Breakage Defense Deep Con Mask
Shampoo- Creme of Nature (green top) This is my favorite shampoo.
Leave in- Giovanni Direct
Since you are transitioning you will want to make sure to use some type of protein conditioner to keep your hair from breaking. This has to be balanced out w/ moisture so always condition w/ a moisturizing conditioner after doing a protein treatment.
For protein treatments I would suggest Motions CPR (I have the one in the bottle, not the jar), and for moisturizing conditioner I like Dove Intense Moisture.
Moisturizing your hair daily and sealing the moisture in with an oil is also very important.
I've used Dr. Miracles feel it formula, it really works especially against split ends, it also has some kind of mint product in the product so when you put it on your scalp you can feel it tingle.
