Pro-tac is fantastic stuff!!! It is definately the most gentle method to use when applying hair extensions. I'm still fairly new to this extensions thing, but I have mostly used pro-tac for my installs and haven't had any damage whatsoever. It incredibly easy to install yourself, and doesn't take as long to install compared with other methods, and its very easy to remove.Oh,and its cheap!!!
Sherrie definately has the best step-by-step demo on the web,and its the same demo I used when I was new to extensions. Good luck with your pro-tac install, and don't forget to post pics,we love pics here!!! :-)

thanks! I will def post pics as soon as i figure out all the details on this. does it work for every hair type? ( thin..fine.) bc i naturally don't have a lot of hair and its fine also.
I think the protac works great and is not harmful on 99% of people who use them. On people with weak hair roots, (like me) almost any extension method will cause root pull.
I wore Protac a few times, and after just 5-6 weeks, although the removal was easy and gentle, I lost tons of hair. I've also seen this happen on two of my clients who have very fine hair too.
But I think they are worth a try for you. Most likely they will be fine in your hair.
hi anitana, i too have thin fine crap-tastic hair....but all that sh!tty hair is covered up with beautiful hair using the tapes/wefts...definately do your research on sherrie's site and the posts here about do's/dont's etc, but even with research you'll still learn a lot just by doing.....now hurry up and install so we can see your PICS!!!
