I admit I'm totally stealing this from parts of posts on another web site, but I couldn't resist.
Recently I saw some older pics of Linda Stouffer, Catherine Calloway, and Kathleen Kennedy. All of them had shorter hair back then. These links shows pics of them with shorter hair.
You won't be surprised that I think all three of them look much better with longer hair. Kathleen and Linda are two of the hair improvements on cable news.
Well, the comments from the people who responded to the posts were also fairly positive:
From "Jen":
I think all of them are better looking with the longer hair. None of them gets mentioned here often. It seems like Erica, Christi, and especially Robin are the HLN females who get the most attention here. Erica, Christi, and Robin are attractive, so are Linda, Kathleen, and Catherine.
From "East":
I agree with this statement.
From "TVH Watcher:"
they all flunk short hair.......Much better with the longer hair.......all three have matured into lovely mid-age women
From "DSJ":
Some women become more attractive when they get older. Many women over 40 have "mature" beauty. They know what type of makeup, wardrobe, hairstyle etc makes them look more attractive. Linda, Catherine, and Kathleen are examples of this even though Linda isn't 40 yet.
Someone else reported that the "before" link for Linda was fake; that her hair was never that short.
Linda's hair has never been that short... the picture posted is a poorly done PHOTOSHOPPED picture. Note the shape of South America! Then go the the top right and click "Next"

Hal Linda's hair was that short about 7 years ago.... I personally think Cathrine Callaway looked better when her har was cut short. She had it much shorter than even in the picture above.

I'm normally a short-hair person but think all three of these women look younger and hotter with longer hair, especially Kathleen Kennedy, who I didn't even recognize with shorter hair. Good moves on all their parts. Though as always, I hope they don't confuse "long" with "styled" and continue to do interesting things with the length instead of just letting it hang there.
Your hair is your best accessory; wear it with STYLE!

Although it never looked anything like that awful fake in original post, Linda wore her hair about that short around 2000. I remember it well because a number of women asked me to cut their hair just like hers.
On balance, I liked her hair better when she wore it short because it was usually nicely styled. Long-haired Linda has good and bad hair days. Sometimes the longer hair just drags her down. Other times she looks like she's ready for a Maxim photo shoot. As pointed out by another contributor, "Don't confuse long with styled..."
Cathraine and Kathleen were "victims" of the great harcut
about 4 years ago. Almost all of the anchors went to a very short haircut.
I think both look great now. As far as Linda Stouffer she just gets better and better. All of the aforementioned ladies have been around for quite awhile. and just keep getting better looking.
Linda did have very short hair for a long time.

I prefer Linda with shorter hair - though I have to admit some of the longer styles look good also. I will echo what others have said. Long hair should have a style also, not just hanging there. I guess that is why I prefer shorter styles - they seem (at least to me) to have a style.
