Ok, I have visited many websites regarding hair. I have always been told that hair grows faster in the summer because heat stimulates the hair follicule and makes hair grow.
Surfing the web,I now see many sites that say hair grows faster in the winter, not summer. That like animals whose fur coeats grow longer and thicker in the winter,so does ours.
So which is it? Does anyone know? How can we really be sure who is right?
On women, hair seems to grow at three times: 1. During pregnancy 2. the
week before and during menstruation, and 3. during exercise. I
think the growing faster in summer thing may partly be believed because
people are more apt to get out and do more activities in the
summer. I never heard anyone say it grew faster in winter, maybe
they are confused with cats and dogs.

Ha, interesting. I've heard from A LOT of pregnant women that they actually lose a lot of hair during pregnancy and later regrow it after the baby comes.
