Wave Help

Hey, im new to the site and i been readin alot of the posts.  I had waves back in the day, wen i was a sophomore in high school (im sophomore in college now), but i slacked on them and they eventually went away.  i been tryin to get them bak for like the last 8 months now, but they not actin like i want them to.  the back is in pretty good, the sides r ok (my left side is in good, but the right side is half way comin in, like in diff spots), but the front aint comin in at all.  idk y they aint comin in.  the front has always been the hardest to come in for me, but this time it seems MUCH longer than the last.  i started dry brushin ALOT (cuz thats how I got them wen i first had waves bak in the day) and put sportin waves pomade on everynite b4 i got to bed with the dooey.  but that aint been workin so now im brushin my hair in the shower wit warm water and puttin grease in before puttin on the dooey.  can anyone help me out here?

Yeah post some pics homie but just keep brushing, the weak areas,,and then just keep brushing the weak areas..
