Hey guys...
thank you so very much! two days ago, a friend of my mum who used to be a hairdresser(now she is a shop assistant), came to our house to cut the hair of me and my brother. i showed her a pic of nick lachey, and askd her to make my hair look like nick's.... he has a totally different faceshape(yes i ment feaceshap, not headshape ) then me, but i think it still looks a bit better now...
when my get longer again, I think I'll go to a "real" barber, and tell him to do a layercut... thank you for your advice!
greetings, David

Hey David from Austria! You're English is just fine.
My advice is to get a cut that is very layered, shorter on the sides, getting a bit longer towards the top to allow "play" with the layers for spikey/piecey gel looks or soft, clean brushed back looks. You could go with either very short "bangs" or longer layers in front to allow for more styling options. You can pull off just about any look, but avoid that buzz cut look or anything shaved too close to the scalp. Keep at least a hint of the sideburns to keep things interesting, and if you're daring, get a few lighter/blonder highlight thrown in just around front of face and top. You're look in these pics works well also, but just keep up on the trims for healthy hair that manages well.
Good luck!

contact lenses are good because it shows off your blue eyes better. glasses adds character because the shape, size, and design tells a little bit something about you. Besides you cannot wear normal contacts full time, although there are some types that you can wear for 30 days without taking it out,
Head shape only matter if you plan to shave your hair, you need good bone structure for a shaven head. Perhaps what you meant is the shape of your face, not your head.
to me you have a nice oval shape, which is a great shape because any hairstle looks great on you. so you are lucky.
a tip when you get a haircut is to ask the stylist/barber/hairdresser to cut your hair in layers so that it will add shape and depth to the hair.
Hi guys my name is david and I'm from austria(europe +g+)...so please excuse my english...
first, two pics from me:
this pics are slightley modified....and as you can see I've used a lot of hair-gel and hairspray, cause I just styled my hair for these pictures.
I think about getting contact lenses instead of my glasses...do you think I should? would that matter related to my new haircut?
I don't really trust the barbers in my town, so I thought I could just look in the internet for new ideas, but I didn't really find something that satisfied me... Somehow i came to this forum.... Now i just wanted to ask you guys for some ideas... What do you think? what hairstyle would match my headshape? I do not want much longer hair then now, and I don't want to look like a clydesdale,...i want a kind of casual, laid-back hairstyle that should have a modern look. well, do you guys think that someting linke this exists for me?
I'd be very pleased if you could help me somehow. maybe with some pictures of hairstyles where you think they could look great with me.
I'm begging you....please take a moment and think if you could help me.
