QuoteReplyTopic: Obsessed With Washing. Posted: February 13 2007 at 7:16pm
I've readed a point where I cannot stand having dry hair. My hair just feels so good when it's wet. And it looks half way decent. I wash my hair once at night, and once in the morning. Could this be bad considering it's winter? Also, I'm having trouble touching my hair after getting out of the shower, which makes it dry faster and frizz up, so sometimes I skip moisturzing and throw on oil. Any suggestions? Oh, finally you all have a picture of my hair!

Oooo look at all that pretty thick hair..I need my hair to be like 10x thicker right now. But girl not putting on a moisturizer you know better than that Are you washing with shampoo or conditioner...if its conditioner then its not that bad but the less manipulation the better. One you get those curl products I suggested you can dress it up with a pretty headband or it looks like you have enough hair for a small puff.
Yeah .. it's too dang thick now. My Man Friend is dying for a fro.. but I told him that's too risky! I've been doing the headbands and its nice until it dries ... I like the wet look I guess. I know that moisturzing is essential..but I like my curls with no frizz! I do just the conditioner of course. Don't think V05 is crap! That .99 bottle is the best, I've learned. I shampoo maybe once a week now, before I never did it..but I was using a conditioner that had cones a few weeks ago so that was reason enough to shampoo.

Aw. Thanks Girl! It tooke awhile to get thick coils. And you can tell from my past posts that I was ready to run back to a relaxer, but in the end it was worth it. Thick hair that's grazing my back finally! I need to cut those relaxed ends on the left there! It's growing a little slow in that one little spot.

After washing your hair you have to add a moisturizer then go ahead and seal it with your oils. That is how you obtain a "wet" look. When I do it my most successful products are s-curl as a moisturizer sealed with WGO or natural shea butter. I've learned honey is moisturizing as well.
Well, I've been stalking this board long enough to have that strategy implanted in my thick head. The problem I'm facing is the frizzy after handling my hair too much from distributing the product. -- Today was a nice hair day for me though. I'm convinced it likes to play nice when it wants to.

.. Oh, and by the way. My hair does not like S-Curl or honey. The S-Curl doesn't do several people justice, but I'm quite surprised by the honey. It just lied in my hair. I didn't feel any different after rinsing. Is there a certain brand? --Ever since I deep conditioned with ORS Hair Mayo, the curls have decided to "pop". I'd love to see more definition on top of this. Here I come Coconut Milk!
