HOW DO U WASH DU RAGS?????

MAY SOUND SILLY....BUT ON THE DU RAG PACKAGES...SOME OF THEM IT SAY :DO NOT PUT IN WASHER:
OR SUMTIN LIKE DAT.....MY WHITE DU RAG IS REALLY LOOKIN DIRTY RIGHT NOW....YA'LL TELL ME WUTS REALLY GOOD

WASH BY HAND IN THE SINK OR BATHTUB.I THINK THE MACHINE CYCLE MESSES THEM UP.HOPEFULLY THAT MAKES SENSE.LOL MERRY XMAS CARD. (HANGDRY).

I hand wash mine with bar soap.

Has anyone ever stretched the ties out too far?
I have the kind that's sorta like a stocking cap and the ties are like 2 feet long...seriously.
I know there isn't anything I can do about it but buy another one...I was just wondering if it has happened to anyone else.

Maybe because I wash my du rag with my clothes?? Could that be why it doesn't mess up my du rags..
