I'm starting to think about my summer installs.  Right now I am wearing protac, but I'm not sure it'll stand up to my summer activities.  Now, I tried silicone lined micro rings and they were aweful for me.  They hurt very badly and showed thru my hair.  I am curious tho about other types of rings.  What kinds are really thin and flat when squeezed?  Are there any that have a thinner side wall then the silicone ones I tried?  TIA!

try them , ammn has pro tubes and locs like hair locs- they both lay narrower and flatter.

Here's some pics for ya. The top one shows the inside wall. The Extenshell has a top and bottom. The bottom is flanged with a little bigger opening to allow the tip. The top is smaller. The bottom pic shows it in perspective to a standard shoelace tip. I believe this one is .5gr

Sizes L to R: Large, Medium, Small

Wow those pics are so helpful for me as well! I only have a small supply of the mircos (not nearly enough for a full install) so I'm thinking I'm gonna have to get some extenshells from ya later on!
