I've ordered my kit from this website

Please let me know what you think. THANKS!

Are you completely against using regular haircoloring? Why are you choosing to use henna? I am more curious than anything else. As a stylist I don't use henna it's a real bitch to get out of the hair once you put it in. If you ever plan to use anything other than henna in your hair to change your haircolor again you could have disasterous results because of the way henna would react with a traditional haircoloring. If you ever goto a salon for highlights or whatever...you need to inform then that you have henna in your hair otherwise disaster will occur.

Henna will work on greys.. I am thinking about going this route.. The only downside for me is that henna must be left on the hair 2-4 hours.. Since grey hair is somewhat resistant to coloring, I imagine I will need the entire 4 hours.. **sigh**

Henna can give you colors of a red base, such as strawberry blonde, red, brown, & black ... I think Cleopatra actually used it to make her hair black.  Check out www.hennaforhair.com .. it has some good general information.  Henna will work on virgin hair, but is not recommended for use over previously bleached/dyed hair.  I'm not sure about gray hair, since I don't have it yet, but just be sure to research well before dying.  Good luck, and let us know how it goes for ya. :)

Strand testing is the only way to be sure.
