put du-rag or wave cap.. on and ur str8 cuz the water wont really harm u...but if its clorine water i advise u 2 wash ur hair afterwards

Finally, a topic I can relate too. Every Thursday I go swimming in an indoor pool, with "authenthic salt water." I get out the pool, I can still see my waves, yet my hair is dry as sh*t. So as soon as I get home, I wash my hair, brush with moisturizer, and I'm set.

y u need a cap 4 swimming...kinda overboard. A couple hours in a pool wont harm u as long as u wash urself afterwards.
