cosign and wen ur wolfin its good to comb ur hair too.. it helps straighten out the curls.. which can help make deeper waves. cuz the longer the hair is.. the deeper ur waves will become

especially if you just put in a moisterizer cuz it makes your hair softer. that's y i brush it in for a lil while

Your wave pattern deepens as your trained hair grows longer. 
 
As you regularly brush, you must find the point where your hair waves, then grow it out to the point that it is unmanageable.  Along this hair growth continuum you will find the optimal length for visible wave deepness.
