I use pomade, but I prefer Let's Jam- orange top.

CANT DO THE POMADE(sh*t in can).......IS WHT I CALLL IT BUT I GUESS WITH UR TEXTURE IT WORKS FOR U .....BUT TRY NO POMADE,,,,JUST A MOSTIRIZER AND H2O METH DURIN A WOLFIN SESSION ..................AND SEE IF U DONT CHANGE UR MINDE ABOUT DAT POMADE.....buT u might not thats a big MIGHT

Let's Jam- orange top works best when your hair is short.  When I'm wolfin Let's Jam will not hold my hair down.  You can still see my waves, but I lose definition.  The best solution for me is to use pomade when I'm wolfin, even though I am not a huge fan of it. 
 
Pomade is a Catch-22.  It gives great hold, but it's messy and doesn't give your hair a shine like Let's Jam.

IF you MUST use pomade and want shine apply pomade, wear the du rag for a while, then put a LITTLE bit of moisterizer in your hair (pink, motions, anything that shines) and rag again for about 15 minutes.

That's exactly what I do.  A little Let's Jam on top of pomade makes your waves look wet.

fo'real...but don't put too much cuz that'll be cakin your hair up and cloggin your pores. Just make sure that you wash at least every other day for healthy and clean hair

There is debate in the wave community about how often you should wash your hair.

Some say wash your hair frequently, (several times a week), to keep it clean and healthy.  Others say you shouldn't wash your hair frequently, (a couple times a week), because it will strip your hair of its natural oils and these oils cannot be duplicated with products.

gave up pomade 4 now just tryin to keep it moisturized with the pink cant find cc out here what up with that lets jam orange top is that a pomade will it cake me up

Let's Jam is a shining and conditioning gel.  Let's Jam-orange top provides extra hold.  There are other Let's Jam products with different color tops, but the orange top has the strongest hold.
 
It won't cake up your hair like pomades.
