^^^Just to add to that young africa was a knowledgable vet who did a lot. Now back to the topic, beach water you should wash out as well, because it dehydrates your hair. As for chlorox well thats self-explanatory.

chlorine is a cleaning agent...i dunno y it wud b a problem...juss wash it 2 b safe
not for your hair. Thats like saying because fire burns paper fire burns water. Nope. i'm sceptical about ocean water cause it does have salt(though i don't think that'll matter as well as saand and depending on how close you are to the shore that sand is fatal for waves. If only young Africa was here.

Beach water is OK because its just natural water with no chemicals in it. Pool water on the other hand has chlorine in it and you need to wash your hair immediately after swimming in it.
