Well I went ahead and dyed it anyway. It definatly looks like it's changing so I am not sure why the strand test didn't work. Well even though no one answered my question, I think that this is a perfect forum for woman/men who have hair questions and want to seek help fast before doing something to their hair. Great site, great ppl as far as I can tell! =)

CryI bought a home dye kit and normally don't ever do the strand test, and I have been dyeing my hair for years, but when I did the strand test, it didn't do anything to the strand. It hasn't changed. Right now my hair is a dirty blondish/slight red tint and I was trying to go for a lighter blonde. I did the strand test around 11:20AM and it's now 1:25PM and still it has not changed at all. Should I even bother with going through with the dye? I am not even sure if it will even do anything or not?? I'm confused.Confused
