UnhappyHow should I wear my hair with a red satin halter prom dress? Keep in mind that I am 5 feet, and my date is 6'5.

Some sort of up-do high on your head with curls up on top will make you appear taller.  Maybe do some side-swept bangs and you'll look very elegant. 
 
I can tell you from experience.... I have 2 cousins who walked in a wedding together.  She's 5'1" and he's 6'4".  She was afraid he would make her look like a midget, but it wasn't like that at all!  She made him look like a giant!  She looked normal sized. LOL

I hope you're wearing heels! All kidding aside, a really pretty up do will go with your dress and give some height to you. You could also do a half up half down do with a teased front. Gorgeous dress, by the way.
