Looks the same to me. Just not as greasy. Since you use pomade thats not a clear representation of what straight cc would be like in your hair because unless you did extreme washing or used vegetable oil shampoo there will still be traces of pomade residue in your hair and that does affect the overall look. (i.e. Residual method)
To see what straight carrot creme really would look like in your hair and what it really can do you'd first have to ween off of pomade and stay on straight cc for a while before your hair really begins to show a difference. Otherwise it really doesn't do much.
Three-Six-Oh, I haven't used any pomade since my low cut on April 3. So, there is no pomade residue in my hair.
After, I used Let's Jam- orange top on April 5, and washed it out, I've been on the carrot creme tip.

yeah you spining stick wit CC for a while throw away that pomade.
Co-sign. Unlike pomade the change with cc isn't instant and it takes a while for you to start seein the true results but its worth it.
Three-Six-Oh!, I understand the virtues of carrot creme. But, I would be remised if I didn't qualify my sparing pomade usage, and avoid disparaging it.
