Also, was wondering, the tape shows as blue and white on here, is that just the backing that you remove, thus making it invisible?

The tape is clear. What you see is a blue backing on one side, and a white backing on the other side

About 4-5 weeks I would say, I guess it depends on the person, I bet some girls could keep it much longer and others would have problems after a couple of weeks... it depends on your scalp, if it's oily or not (mine is though) and your routine (don't use rich shampoos on the tapes+LG)

Protac LG must not be for me.  My hair needs to be washed every day, but with my extensions, I have been pushing every 2.  LOL The second day I don't like to go anywhere! 
 
I've also already ordered my extensions, which I really don't want to send back, because this hair on my head is not exactly what I care for!  It seems so dry, not good quality, for me.  I want it to be silky, like my natural, and it's not.
 
When I first had it installed it was gorgeous!

You know I HAVE to wash my hair every day too!
And I think it's good with the Protac method, to wash your hair daily.
You just have to be careful which shampoo you use and not put the conditioner on the tapes
