QuoteReplyTopic: A Photo of Bohyme 10/16? Posted: April 21 2007 at 4:02pm
Does anyone have a photo of Bohyme 10/16? I just received the 14/24 and it was definitely not what I expected. I love yellowish colors, and run far far away from ash. 14/24 is very ashy. The blend is very much blended! More like a unicolor which looked a dishwater blonde to me. Horrible for my complexion.
I've seen some photos of the 10/16 installed on different people, but most commonly in combo with other colors, so I'm having a hard time imagining how 10/16 actually appears on the weft. If it's not right, I'll just use 16 as a peachy base I think.
To give people an idea of the look I'm going for. I plan on installing Bohyme colors 27 (love the yellow), 24 (for highlights and to help blend with my top layers). I'll be doing a combo of wefts on the bottom (so I can reuse the hair), and then some fusion up top with keratin (so I can go up higher, and disguise my shelf).

Thank you kirsty. I wonder if the piano mix is big and chunky though. would you say the piano is really chunky or is it more skinnier, thus more natural looking and blendable while still on the weft.
i have some! mine is Bohyme bodywave 10/16 highlight/side by side ....i'd say its not Tooo chunky, but it makes for a definate side-by-side highlighted look, i love it! i just grabbed it and snapped this shots outside, the sun's going down so i hope you can tell the color ok

oh my gosh, you rock! :-) That's exactly what I needed to see, in the sunlight too! Perfect for the warm lowlighted look I want, but still in the blonde family. I'll have to take some photos of this 14/24 I have, so people can see it.
na i woudnt stay it was chunky at all. if it is maybe obviuos at first that it is 2 colours but once it has been washed it isnt at all...the 2 just blend in since the strips side by side are quite thin maybe an inch/inch and half. my hair was highlighted one colour and it blended fine

Kirsty - yeah, that's probably the best way to describe it, just blah grey, I held it near my face and it made me look kind of sickly (that's when I knew this was not a good color for me, and i think you're right about the bohyme US and UK colors being a little different. Pretty much the same scale, but I think a couple of hues/tints might vary for some #'s
Amanda - You're site is so inspirational! You do some awesome blending and I dig the creativity too.
BTW... I took some pics last night of 14/24 but also wanted to get some sunshine lighted photos today so y'all can see the "truer" colors untainted by bulb lighting. Will post today.
Kirsty - lol I installed the USA D14/24 yesterday on a client and I find the UK hair to be very ashy, I found that very warm. Its the second pack I've had and they've both been nearly identical to the USA D14/22, how bizzare lol.
Yes it does look ashy against the 27 doesn't it chick but I think the 27 is very very warm but we all have out own opinion, that wave is superb though isn't it, have you worn it before x
I love all this hair. Thanks Nursie for your pics of 10/16, I had never seen this color before and it is gorgeous! I wear 16 that I mix w/ 14B and a tiny bit of 24. There are so many colors to try! Thanks for your pics Quadratic! The hair looks gorgeous too!

Amanda - I've never worn the Virgin Body before. So far I've worn Bohyme's Egyptian Wave, Silky Straight, and Body Wave (?) (if I remember correctly). I absolutely loved the Egyptian Wave. Even though I have Caucasian hair, and it's intended as more of an ethnic hair, it was so soft and manageable. I think a lot of women who are looking to find a soft scrunchable wave that still maintains a wave when dry would love the EW Definitely not curly like the French Refined, and probably a good option for those wanting to try the Soft Wave but find the wave washes out. But if you're used to the feel of Silky Straight and the way you can run your fingers through it, EW is a thicker hair with a coarser feeling to the strands.
Frenchie - It can be so overwhelming sometimes :-) But that's why I love this board. Color charts a la Extreme Close Up Wayne's World Style aren't as fortelling as seeing it from farther away, like the human eye would see it.
