Tar baby?....we gotta get out of this slave mentality!
Anyway, that has never happened to me, but then again no one is examining the back of my head either. My uncle gave me a tip to keeping my skin soft and clean...rubbing alcohol. He's bald and keeps a pretty clean shaven face and what he does to keep it clean and bump free is rub a little bit of alcohol on his skin, like how the barber does when he line's you up. I haven't tried it yet myself, but he doesn't have any razor bumps.

If ur skin feels scaly it's probably a fungus. Just put some antifungus cream behind it and u'll be straight in about a week. lol.

Yo, that defiantely happened to me after using ice for a while. That';s why i only use it when I'm going out and want to shine. The corners towards the front of my head got dark, scaly and iritated. It even makes my hair break off if i use it daily.
We all gotta get old, but before I do I'm a ball outta control Live young! die rich! woo!

What up BlackFate? The dark areas around your hairline has nothing to do with the pomade you are using; it's from your brush. I'm assuming that you are using a hard boar bristle brush. Throw the hard brush in the garbage and switch to a soft brush. The problem is that when you are brushing your hair and you get to your hairline you are not only brushing your hair but you are also inadvertently brushing your skin. Try and brush real light when you get to the edge of your hair (even with the soft brush).
P.S. Don't forget to throw out your hard brush. You do NOT need a hard brush. They do more harm than good. I don't care how thick or nappy you think your hair is, No one needs to use a hard brush.
