HEY LADIES.
MY HAIR IS DOING GREATEmbarrassed
IT HAS BEEN A MONTH AND ALREADY MY HAIR HAS GROWN 1-2  INCHES LONG!!!TongueTongueTongue
I now have a bob and it is very simple and easy to take care of.
But I need to stay away from the hot combs and straightners!!!
My hair looks fried now that I have abused my hair with all the heat on it!!!Ouch How do I repair the damage that I have caused?? And the only part of my hair that looks fried are my ends. But I know that if I continue to use heat on my hair, then my hair will become frizzy and hard to manage.
Please help!!!CryCry

Sorry to hear that. Well IMO, try to limit the heat...that's the real only way to stop this from happening. To help repair I suggest getting the ends trimmed, protein treatment followed by a deep conditioning treatment. Also try wetsetting it for longer wear so you dont have to use heat. Thats all I can think of at the moment. HTH

hey hungry4hair good job with retaining that length, but I am sorry to hear your suffering from heat damage. When this happened to me I did what ThAbAdDeStBaBy suggested and also cut heat out completely for about a month and just cowashed 1-2x a week and rinsed daily with water; this is the only thing that brought my hair back to life. To protect your hair when flat iron make sure to use a heat protectant, I use Chi silk infusion. But I read on LHCF that any heat protectant with silk will protect the hair. Good luck!

How do you cowash the hair and what methods would you suggest?

Cowashing is just washing your hair with conditioner as if you were using shampoo. It's really simple
