Apologies first of all if my scanner isn't of the best quality, but I fed-scanned these pics courtesy of a $1.99 magazine.
 
-Nicole's bonds are showing on top? It really takes the eye away from the beautiful blending of colors she's got going on!
 
-The back of Paris' head looks like she doesn't have any hair left of her own?  Or she just has pulled all her locks forward, not realizing what it looks like from the back?
 
Can anyone give any opinions as to what might be wrong with their extensions, or maybe this is normal looking with strands? Anyone that can help discuss as to what is going on/wrong in these photos, maybe it will help others too?
 
I'm not trying to pick on Nicole or Paris Wink  I just thought these were an excellent opportunity to perhaps present an "educational" photo for the DIYs.

Yeah it def looks like Nicole's bonds are showing. probably just placed some really high up and ddn't hair spray to keep things in place. But its easy to avoid really.

Paris's is sorta hard to tell, i've seen pics like that before, and it can really be affected by the flash and glare making what look like bald spots. From the pictures that are out there of her with out extensions, it seems like she has really thin and fine hair, so it could just be her own hair isn't showing up too well in the photo. Either way, i totally agree that it seems like she never thinks of the back of her head! she always sweeps her hair around her shoulders! just looks funny cos it can expose the shorter hair under the extensions, lol

Nicole probably has problems growing hair due to her weight, I could see her needing them super high up like that, I don't think they look that bad, in fact I think they look nice.
Paris is a different story... she needs something shorter that blends better, but I guess what she has now is kinda a signature look for her.

I don't usually comment about celebrities, but you'd think with all their money they could afford to pay for something that doesn't show.

 most of the DIYers around have better extensions! .... I think its because they jsut assume someone else will fix it, they're so catered to.. ick...

i kinda get that parting in the back that paris has there, i have to spray my hair down there....in fact even when i dont have extensions in my hair naturally parts in the crown and used to expose my roots!

nichole's.....i guess if she didnt have it installed so high then she'd be mullety, but i dont think that's worth having all those pieces of rice showing

I think one strip of a hair tape would help for that top layer in back, just to keep it in place.

Nicole's weight issues would definitely affect her hair growth, and need therefore need some on top.  I love the colors used, that looks great. Also that Paris does need someone to blend layers into hers. Good points, Poose!

I agree w/ you, I think Paris only need more extensions higher on the back of her head, this way she wouldn't have this problem!
