Hey guys, this is totally my last resort im so screwed right now i dont know what to do. I got fusion extensions done by a stylist who was so so nice and i got them done cheaper becuase i had to model for her hair comp that day. So anyways, i got them done and they dont really blend well but the hair. IS HORRIBLE. i cant get a brush through it! EVER! and it  gets tangeled every five minuets! No matter what i do to it its a frizzy mess and i just got it done. On top of that the extensions are fallign out like crazy and my real hairs now so short and screwed up i cant live with out them. Im a student and cant afford to get any more done becuase i couldnt even really afford this but now im just so so confused on what to do. Anyone have any ideas? The tangeles are driving me insane. (i can get a pic if you guys want)

Im sorry this happened. I am not a stylist but feel your pain. It can really be awful. I have had a similar situation but it happened a bit later after the install, maybe a month.

Have you gone back to the stylist so she can have a look and maybe figure out the problem? Most responsible salons/stylists want you to be happy. I would try giving her a call and have her help. It could be the hair type chosen was wrong for your texture, any number of problems. Good luck and keep us posted.

It sounds like she used poor quality hair. It needs to be removed. There isn't anything you'll be able to do to make that hair good again. Sorry.

What type of extension did you have done exactly? I mean did the method have a brand name? Have you been using any heat tools near your scalp and bond? It sounds to me like crapola hair was installed also. I agree with malibu and NO amount of conditioning or treatments will bring it back from the brink.

Dont panic. Have you tried contacting the stylist yet? How long has it been since the day you had the install done and when the problems started? At the very least the stylist should remove them for you so they arent making you insane.

The hair does need to be removed.  It sounds like a poor application and bad hair.  You could ask for a refund, but most of the time it's hard to get one.

After the extensions are out, you could buy wefts and either do clip ins or use the protac tape method.  Both methods are easy, and  fairly inexpensive.

Good luck to you!

Hey Chiku, I don't like protac tape personally. It gets sticky and gross and then you've got that to deal with. LG was better but with adhesive methods it's a mess and you need to use chemicals (acetone) on your hair to remove it. No thanks....but now I do the sew ins and I LOVE IT! That's been the most hassle free and comfortable. I only have one track that's a double weft. I think I may try two tracks next time. Also what I like about sew ins is that I can deep condition my hair twice a week. With protac and liquid gold (LG) you can't do that.

HTH!

I agree with Malibu, summer is coming and the icky sticky of the protac doesn't work for me.  LG is a great summer source.

Hi Chiku, it sounds like the hair that has been put in is crap, so there's not much you can do about it exept taking it out as soon as possible.
If you want to have extensions at a low price (I am a student too!) you have different options, you can try synthetic hair, there's some really good out there apparently (I have never tried synthetic personally) and use the Protac or LG method. For DIYer, they are two easy method and cost effective too. I have tried Protac and got really tired of the stickiness that Malibuy and Valentine mentioned, Liquid gold would be a better option for you with the warm weather coming. LG is very cheap too and it is very easy to use and remove (with Goo Gone and acetone), but you have to take your time.
If you can spend a little more $$, maybe you can try Bohyme hair, it is great quality hair and isn't so expensive depending the length and texture you need. Plus this hair can last for up to 6 months!
(hairsisters.com has very low prices on Bohyme)
Jet set extensions has unexpensive remy hair too but it is slightly less nice than Bohyme IMO.
Whatever hair you chose, if it is human hair, pick a remy cuticle hair and make a research on the brand you want to wear. This forum, and hairextensions101.com and diyextensions.net will help you find the info you need, good luck!!!Embarrassed

Hi Krimsa!
Yes, it is Bohyme Silky Straight I have on my avatar, but the picture is kinda weird and distorted though! I love this hair and I think it is a great investement for people with small budget but who still want nice hair!

It looks very nice and shiny. How is it to the touch? Course or soft?

It is very nice hair with a soft feel, not as soft as my own hair, but it is a great blend for my thin hair. It is probably the softest hair I have ever worn.

Cool. I was just thinking it looks great. I have heard the Bohyme looks very nice but can feel course. I also have fine, soft hair so most anything will feel course compared with that. But like you say, it blends. I cant even tell its extensions in that shot.

It's a pretty bad picture actually, make a quick search on my last install pics if you want, you'll get a better idea of how the Bohyme hair looks like!

Hey frenchie can you post a link or something to the photos of your install? Malibu i always thought Bohyme was supossed to be really silky but I read someone on here (forgot her nick) saying its course to the touch and doesnt feel as nice as it looks. To me, it looks really silky though. I guess if you want silky, silky, you gotta pay for that Russian hair.
