    Posted: May 23 2007 at 11:18pm

I just realized something...a lot of us are jumping on the wave bandwagon when it comes to products. When someone with good waves says what products they're usin everyone jumps on it.

First there was the carrot cream craze when i first started so i jumped on it myself after jqrs said that's what he uses. Every one was usin it and it was like gold in a jar

Then I said that i like cc and Motions mixed and some of those same people started jumpin on that and sendin me messages about it.

Then when Supafresh posted an update with indian hemp in his hair, the same people started hopping on that.

No offense to any one but just because something works 4 someone doesn't mean that it will work 4 you. The reason that we are where we are is that we brush a lot!! I've learned that its good to find a method and to stick to it.

Remember, BRUSHING IS THE KEY!!!

The reason that i didn't post this in the Random Room is cuz stuff moves too fast in there and i want this to be seen.

yep...we need to remember that the power is in the brush! any 1 moturizer is fine. and if you want hold, use Lets Jam or pomade (don't really advise it). simple as that.

If that's the case. Then I like to spray PAM on my head to give it a nice crisp shine.

Man, I swear I was about to put that on that other post called "inspiration." I was gonna say any of those guys can put down anything and so many people will try it. They can say, "yeah, I put elmers glue in my hair b/c it makes the waves more defined, then I top it off w/a lil dab of crisco for the shine".....

Yeah, thats whats up....Say, I hit u up on the "hang out" forum..
Man, I tell u what, if u got some tight waves ur like a God on here. If u say do this, people will do it...In the beginning I was like that too, I followed whatever. But now I ask questions b/c I'm trying to find something that works good w/my hair b/c EVERYTHING seems to wanna curl it up while its wolfing except something with the consistency of grease... But anything moist (motions, pink oil, etc, Jam, and even pomade) will curl it up....

i've recently found out that ur hair curling up can be stop by training ur hair@ texan. during my last wolfing session, my hair started curling up with lets jam around week 7 but now my hair hasn't curled up at all even thought i'm almost on week 10. You see, brushin cures all!

I never get the crazy PM's. All people ask me is what my method is. I guess their scared that I will put them on blast or something.

Note to everyone: I only talk about people in the open forums. In PM's I will help you because the general public doesn't have to be bombarded with repetitive questions in a personal message.

LOl...yeah, but nothing like they use to do when I had braids....Plus I was a lil bit bigger back then b/c I worked all alot harder...Yeah, they'd be scared...Plus I stay in a town in East Texas thats stuck in the past so its still kinda segregated and racial...But I like that though. Im out to break the stereotypes of the black man being the "typical n****" . Thats y I wanted to be a Dr. w/braids....But once braids became so popular and commercial/crossover like..I started losing the passion for them...

honestly there can be two parts to it
some people are probably trying to find a product that works for them and seeing other people use them and get good results they wanna try it and see what happens
but then theres the people that use it just because they think itll get them waves like the person who posted about it

lazy and just sent the links to the searhces, then I just
got lazy as hell and stopped responding to most.

I thought it was just me LOL

Exactly the dudes that buy into the products that another waver uses because they think itll get them waves like the person who posted about it is just as bad as buying a wavebuilder product.. wait no its not that bad (bad analogy lol).

Even when I was gettin questions about Indian Hemp I always said I have thick/soft hair its not for everybody...different strokes for different folks.
