My hair is naturally a mousy medium or light brown. I've highlighted it most of my life. This past time, I used Loreal Frost and Design H85 Champagne. While the color isn't awful, it is quite blonde, with nearly white pieces toward the front.

Is there a toner that could either turn it more golden or ashy? Or is there a way to deposit a slightly blonder shade? I just colored my hair on Saturday and have a formal wedding to attend this Saturday. This occured once before and a sales clerk at Sally's Beauy suggested painting the very light strands with Ion Color Brilliance 8G-8.3 Light Golden Blonde hair color. I still have the color, but can't find the developer. If this sounds like a reasonable fix, any advice as to what type of developer and how much to use? I'm not a hair stylist, but any help you could provide would be great. Thank you!

Go to Sally Beauty and look at Born Blonde shades, they are very demi.  You could try one and probably wash it out quickly.  There is a golden shade you might like.

Good luck!

if you use a toner...chances are it will make your highlights even blonder....what you need is a semi permanent color put on your hair a very light color to blend your hair...i once had a hairdresser mix a toner with hairdye to get the right color...don't bother with the toner...ash will make your highlights green and purple will make them lighter...and the developer will lighten them because thats what peroxide does...so perhaps a beige shade would be best like a beige blond
