I've been on my grind with the brush and I think I've found a con to brushing hours at a time. I usually brush 45-1hr a day, but for the last week I've been going 3-4 hours.

now a part of my wave is starting to unravel. It's barely noticeable to the naked eye, but it is driving me crazy. Will wofling this out solve this problem? Because I'm not trying to start over. 3 months of hard work will be down the drainOuch

Yeah I read that topic, but it never mentioned anything about your
waves unraveling and how to fix them.
If you don't have any suggestions to help me then don't post anything at all. No disrespect..that's just how I feel.

bruh...i doubt that there's a scalp on this planet that's been brushed more than mine so i can tell you from experience that there's no such thing as overbrushing! But if you wanna slow it down then that's fine. But i think i brushed the most during this wolfin session and shows when i look at my right side's connection (it improved a lot). Usually when i get low cuts my right's waves are deeper than the rest of my head (curliest side) but they're scattered. This time they're deep and connected better.

So wolfin and brushin is worth it! Just do it to the point that u feel comfortable

By the way...what kind of brush are you using? at that length i'm still usin a softy. But our textures may be different so u may need a medium brush (nothing more than that)

BenBlaze, you're panicking.  Don't worry about that problem, it's just an "unruly" wave.  It is not unraveling, but it's retracting.  In order to fix this problem, put a little extra LJOT or pomade on the area and brush it down with the rest of your hair.  Immediately put on your durag and wave cap for a minimum of 30 minutes.  Repeat this process until the wave flattens and regains it "S" pattern.

i understand your panic tho...i was just dealing with a problem on my left. My waves would lift up in this certain part and curl up like crazy...it took a couple of weeks of brushing to lay it down *sighs* that was some work! But you'll be fine bruh

It happened to me while i was wolfin on my 6th week. My back waves were curled up like crazy. I just used more Olive oil cream and brushed then duraged for a while and it started to relieve. Then after my cut on 7.5 weeks my results were great in the back.

So no panic just keep doing wut u do and then when you get a cut u will be real satisfied.

Overbrushing is the last thing you should be worried about. I use to brush until my scalp would be sore and never had a problem with my wave pattern.
