when u want to striaghten out your waves should you only brush wit a softy, or should u brush most the time wit a medium and then afterwards brush wit da soft... or what? B/c my waves aint fully formed yet i still need to get em on top. But my sides look like organized lines of naps.

Sounds like you need to wolf and brush with a medium to form them. Then once you have formed waves, use a softy to line them up.
CHANGE ON THE WAY !!

i suggest you brush in the shower ALOT, because it will help even out your hair, so do that often.
Also, wolf until you cant no more and brush your hair where the problem is.
that should straigten them out.
