what you need is a toner to get the orange out. If you have a beauty supply store locally, like a Sallys, they should be able to help you find a toner that will work best for you. A toner is basically VERY VERY diluted dye that enhances or dehances the tones found on our hair (blue on top, then red, then yellow - even the sun can cut down on the blue tones which is why hair gets brassy in the sun even). There are also 'red out' products that remove some of the red tones from hair as well. these can again be found at a BSS.
hey guys, im having trouble getting to my desired blonde which is basically the same as leonardo discaprio has especially in titanic which is exactly what i need for my play as well. i have dark brown/black hair and like i put in my last post i double bleach which comes to a very light blonde with very little orange. and then i dye my hair a beige blonde only because some dyes barely darken the bleach. So after dying it comes out as an ugly blondish kinda color with an organge tint. anyone have suggestions or can tell me what im doing wrong?
