QuoteReplyTopic: Scalping (Cutting your waves off) Posted: June 24 2007 at 6:17pm
Yo I remember a lot of ppl here who have cut thier waves of COMPLETELY and found it quite beneficial. Its summer vacation and I feel that I should cut off my waves and start over cuz...i got the time. If it works I could possibly get great connections. If it doesnt i could lose my waves (at worst) or have the same stuff i have now. What do u guys think? Should I do it?
It took me about a year to get my waves tight, so I probably wouldn't want to go through that difficult wave training process again. But to each his own. I do know that Twingotti got scalped and is starting over. And I also know that getting scalp and starting over with a better brushing motion and better brushing angles is one of the best ways to change and improve your overall wave pattern, but it takes time and patience.

im just thinking wouldnt it give me a chance to correct errors i may have made? I had serious waves since gr 7 and i got on this site in gr 10. And i made nuff mistakes at the beginning
As WC mentioned i got a baldy 4 weeks ago to get my 360's as close as perfection as possible. I've always had waves but I never brushed my hair in the proper direction to have true 360's. I will post pic at different stages to show my progression from beginning to end.

I feel that. It took alot of time and it was very difficult for me to get my waves tight. I don't know if I would do it over again.
