Yeah, I haven't been to a salon for a haircut since I was a teen (I am 32 now).  Feye's method does make cutting a lot faster and easier than doing it piece by piece like I used to do.  She did us all a great favor posting that method!

Just checked out the site you mentioned, and what a great site...I hate going to any salon for trims because they always take to much off no matter what you tell them.  I'm going to use the methods that are on the site, thanks for posting it.  Smile

I can't help you with that (I saw your other post where you're looking for a salon in Texas, I am far from Texas).    But why do you want to see a specialist if you don't want any length removed?  Most of what you need to know about caring for long hair you can find on the long hair forum here, or on other places online.  Most of us who grow it don't visit the specialists (though if you want to, you certainly should!).

If you just want a trim, most of us on the long hair forum here do that ourselves using Feye's method: http://community.livejournal.com/feyeselftrim/

Welcome to the boards!

Hi,

This is my first time on and I am searching for a
"long hair specialist".
Please recommened someone who loves long waist length hair only. I am not interested in a length removal.
ThanksSmile
