I REALLY NEED MY WAVES BACK!!!

I've had my waves and I just got a short cut and now I lost some of 'em. And I was wondering, do you have to brush the sides downwards or at an angle? Cause somebody showed a pic of his and I just got curious about the whole way of doing it.

And I got another problem. When my hair is about one month long, whenever I brush my hair it gets all f***** up. Do I have to comb it cause I really don't want to comb it. I always brush my hair to keep my waves.

First, brush your sides at a diagnal angle or downwards

Second, when growing out your hair and it gets****ed up, use pomade to smooth it out or you may need a cut
