I tired reheating it. the bond just got longer. So I said screw it, I rather just colour my hair and then apply my extensions the next day.
It is real hair. i can try and colour around it a bit, I wasnt sure of the chemicals from the hair colour/bleach would melt or cause some weird reaction between the 2.

I'm not aware of any odd reactions between color and shrinks, however I haven't used them personally.I'd just try to avoid the bond itself as thats the most likily spot an issue would occur.
Try using some orange oil. I'm going to guess the bonds are adhesive lined, thats probably whats ccausing the problem. you need the adhesive part to realease, not just the shrink itself.
well I am new to all this and not even sure I choose the right method for me. I have very thin ugly hidious hair. I just want it to be a little thicker and hang nicer. So I bought shrinkee's because they seemed the eaisest. But I am not sure they are right for me. I will probably screw up my hair more in the long run.
I got them from doctored locks. Should I buy non adhesive? I didnt see anywhere on the site if they were adhesive or not. I am assuming they are, because the one I put in, is not going anywhere.

to remove the shrinkies apply heat with your iron and while still clamping the iron closed on the shrinkie slide the whole thing down the hair shaft. The shrinkie shoudl be warped enough from the heat to slide down the hair shaft.
The problem with coloring while shrinkies/rings are on your head is the chance that some of the dye can get trapped in the bond and cause damage.
Since you only put it one, its not a huge deal...but I would recommend that in the future you look into the weft method that a lot of us DIYers use...it is so much easier than shrin****, and at least in my opinion it is a lot better on your hair...and it is a lot cheaper...I can do my whole head in about an hour, takedown in 30 minutes...have been doing it for 2 years now...
Don't get me wrong, shrin**** can be done beautifully, but it is VERY hard to do right, and only professionals - like tangles and metalgirl(who are both some of the best at their methods) - can do that kind properly (so that your hair remains in good condition...)...that being said, check out the stories on here, there are many extensionists who dont do it right who you pay a lot of money to, and they screw up your hair...
anywyas, I just wouldn't recommend choosing it for DIY with thin hair...

I think you got some bad shrink links, I did a full head install by myself with Shrinkies.com adhesive lined links, and they turned out wonderful! Took me forever to install them on myself, but I can say it my favorite method, it feels the best to me, wefts are way way way easier and wayyyyyyyyyyy quicker, but don't feel as nice to me. Plus you don't have to pre-tip wefts But if you do shrink links you may wanna check out someone elses links.
wefts dont seem easier to me, although they look like they do a lot less damage. making a track and sewing in wefts doesnt seem quicker or easier. The one shrink I added.. I can feel a hard chunk. I am sure i didnt do it right.
