for one u prolly wont ever need a hard brush ... so as long as u got a medium annie or diane and a soft brush u should be straight .... and for pomade, sportin waves black can is good (thats what i use) but dont use a lot jus enough to cover ur head ... and make sure u keep ur hair moisturized wit the pink lotion ... but the biggest part is to grow ur hair out and brush

yeah thats pretty much all i use now ... especially now since this barber fuked up my waves .... i had to use this jamaican ni99a and he cut against the grain after i told him not to ... i shoulda cut his nasty @$$ dreads off

let me ask you somethin...when u get a harircut agaisnt the grain does it stick up for a lil while till it gets use to be down??? if u do me n u got the same exact hair...
i cut my hair yesterday against the grain to start over because i didnt like how my results were comin out at all...and i never used moisturizer just str8 360 pomade, so ima start trainin it w/ ultar sheen and then 360 pomade...i got a 5 all around and a blowout...
to me thats an advantage us latinos and mixed niggas got, we can get our hair cut higher n still have the waves lookin real good lol...

I'm black/white, and yeah when I got my hair cut against the grain (even thought I don't have waves yet) it stuck up. But with me brushin a lot I think it's gettin trained better to stay down. I still have some that sticks up a bit.
