oh ya...good good idea...i want one too. have for awhile. i'd like to wash my hair in evian if i could....i was wanting to go back to my natural color...it would take 2 years to grow out...i figured that out with a ruler...but now i am thinking of doing something else.....i went to your color remover page........i cannnnooooottttt stop.
"Paragon Water Systems Shower Water Filter " it's a home depot it has rave reivews and it's only 20 bucks but in all my excitment i didn't notice the 'online only' til the sales people at the store brought it up on there computer lol. so i just ordered it, should be in 2-3 days from now. says its good from removing chlorine and minerals . we have harsh well water so we will see how long this can hold up. i got high hopes for this idea though
yeah thats one of them good pics lol i am running up to home depot to get a shower head filter !! i found a good one ( i think) can't wait for the b/f to get home to put it in!Although i am capible to do it my self but it makes him happy knowing he is helping doing "man"things lol..
oh chuckle chuckle.....is the water treatment working for you? i personally am using conditioner to wash my hair with.....you pic does not look like you have bushy hair at all.....is this just one of those good pics that don't show what is really going on?? i should take a pic of me with my hair pinned up....bride of frankensteinoh3221w0.....that was my cat bam bam saying hello to eve....now i have to go do groceries......blahhhh.
ya, the directions are on the bottle...go to sallys and get some of that stuff....what i did was to put it on for 20 minutes (that is what the directions said to do) then i put on color.....now, this worked beautifully the first 100 times i colored or bleached or whatevered my hair....ha ha to the stupid melting hair!!! oh eve, i don't mean to laugh...but there for the Grace of God go I......and maybe i will melt some hair....the way i am going....i give advice then can't take it myself....eve, i must confess, i put some shades eq on my hair yesterday.....wanted to see if it would help with the frizz on the ends....you know like when you brush or comb your hair and the last couple of inches looks like straw? well, God was with me because it turned out good and i think the ends are sealed and now bushy...i was able to comb my hair this am and it all looked pretty good. i have to go grocery shopping - which i don't like doing....then i will get back on the boards...i love this place.
Well once upon a time(like 3 weeks ago) i destroyed my hair.. I went about coloring it and destroyed it even more. the blonde i had just would not take any color. i used red dye it would wash off. i mixed red dye with colors it wouldn't work. i used a red protien filler and it helped take the color. i used a protien filler before i color and mixed it with my color dyes. it helps it take the color evenly and kinda prevents damage although i wouldn't know hat seeing as my hair started to melt on the end
but before my tale of melty hair i used netral fillers for all my colors directions should be on the bottle mine said to mix half in with the dye. i also used it before i colored by putting in on head and letting it soak a few minutes. the directions should be on there for that to.
how did it work for you miss eve?....this is you reading instructions on how to keep hair from melting...ha ha. you should tell us what you used it for and how it worked out for you....you always have the most exciting stories w/your hair.....which is a good thing, you supply lots of info.
yes i have used the neutral filler....it is good and i highly recommend it. i have even used it as a protein treatment followed by a high moisture content conditioner. it will help protect your hair and make the color take more evenly. try it.
happy coloring
