Well most of you know I had a recent install of micro links which I hated both the method and the hair. I opted this time for a sew in (ouch for a few minutes), which I have to say so far I like this method better then any I have tried so far ( however its only been a day, lets see in a week ). I have 6 braids. I opted for less hair this time because the micro links were to thick. I love the texture of this hair its a virgin remi and I have quite a few wefts left over. The only thing I don't like is the two top braids are sticking out on the sides so I am constantly taking my real hair and finger coming it over. I have been to this stylist every week since the mico links were installed and I am sick of going there. She didnt charge me to take the micro links out but charged me for the new install and color which I thought was fair until a few girls at work told me what they were paying to have their sew ins put in. Any hoo, does anyone have any idea on how to keep the ends of these braids from showing? We were going to put a few strands of the extra micro links I have leftover in, but the new silicone rings I ordered two weeks ago priority mail still have yet to arrived, and I cannot stomach going back in again this coming week. Any suggestions would be great!

got pics? It sounds as if she started the braid to close to your hairline. She doesn't have a few rings she can use to cover it up. If not, she needs to remove those two rows and do it over again. Wait a minute!!!! Did she know that the braids were showing BEFORE you left her shop?
Oh I forgot that part, Yes she knew she said to make sure my real hair on top just covers it. I was there for 4 hours and couldn't take much more. its not the length of the braid that shows its the ends that poke thru my real hair. As far as the rings I wanted to put the silicone rings I ordered on my hair instead of the metal, because all the metal ones did was slip out after a few days, but the silicone rings are MIA. I have to find a new stylist I am relaly not into this one anymore.

no I think its too thin, the braids are kind of think. I had them checked by one of the girls I work with who has her hair braided all the time, and she said they are normal.

I think the two top braids have to come out, it is too much work covering up the end of the braids up there. Also I think the braids are a little thick. How thick are your braids? Mine are the thickness of a sharpie.

Is there someone there with you that can cut out that top weft for you? One weft removal may be enough. It's easy to do. The thread should be easily seen and distinguishable from your hair and they can just snip it out with scissors.
Hmm. I didnt have this problem with my tracks. What color is the hair you had installed? Mine is dark so it just blends in there. I have fairly fine hair also but no peeking out at all. I bet its just a speck to high or something. I know what you mean like the ends kind of poke a bit on the sides and you can feel them there like a tiarra around your head. On me its just feel but not visible. Is your head kind of small?

My head is small, its getting pretty bad now guys, my son and husband walked behind me all day covering it up, now they say they can see the braids through my hair! It actually looks like a square on the back of my head. i am so upset. This stylist has screwed me for the second time. i just paid $210 for this install with color. Now I am back to square one. I am in the process of looking for someone else to fix this. At least they can see what I DONT want.
I was kind of thinking 6 tracks was way too much. Did you want that many? How many ounces of hair are you wearing? She just went up too high is all that happened probably. Just have her take out the top track. Im only wearing 3 tracks and its plenty of hair. The top one is maybe an inch below like where my top part ends if you were looking at the top of my head and its totally covered by hair and concealed. Why not try 3 or maybe 4 tracks at the most?
Nope there are 8 tracks in there. with one single weft on each one. I am hoping to hear from this other stylist today. Krisma how many wefts do you have on each of your tracks?

I have 3 tracks and one weft on each track. The lady that installed them initially did cut them a bit to make them fit my head exactly. I didnt like that but she had to do it probably to avoid the problem you are having now. If I was you. I would take out the top track and see if that solves it and if not, just maybe go with only 3-4 tracks total if your head is smaller and get them fitted exactly to the size of your head going around.
