Just wondered if anyone is currently wearing or has worn the Hairdreams extensions.  My stylist is going to take their class next month in Chicago and asked if I would be interested in being her model.  I have worn Bohyme wefts for a long time now, but I am interested in trying something new.

How long does this method last?  Are you able to color your hair with the extensions in place?  And finally, what is the cost to put them in?

Thanks in advance!

one of the stylists I went to for a consult does hairdreams and it is basically a fusion method similar to great lengths. It has nicer hair I am told and also the bonds are available in mini, medium and regular size instead of one size fits all like great lengths. Other than that, I don't know anymore. the hair is really expensive. the quotes i received were between $600 -$1500 for 50 -125 strands installed and it only lasts 3-4 months and needs to be replaced.

I was also interested in Hairdreams before I decided to go the weft route. I saw some really nice install photos on another site (not their own). I remember reading a post on here that a lady got them and was dissatisfied and the bonds were causing matting if I recall. I don’t know where that post went it was a while ago. Also the photo that I saw of them that I liked, it was right after install and the stylist had curled the girl's hair and they always look nice right after. I would like to see if she was able to duplicate that at home easily, know what I mean?

At a hair show Hairdreams had a booth set up and I went to talk  with them about their product.  It's fusion and I think it's pretty good.

They had a station set up where we could apply a few strands to a mannequin head to try it out, and I did try it out.  Nice bond, can vary the size and the glue doesn't burn your fingers.

Their hair is pricey, but they do offer what they call their 'regular' hair, which is not at expensive.

As far as being reusable, when you take the hair off the head, you can send it back to the company to rebond for approximatley $1 per strand.  Sort of expensive for that.

After much consideration, I decided to take the So Cap USA class. So cap hair is nice, but not as expensive, and they sell rebonds (although they are considering to stop selling the rebonds).  I really like So Cap but I think Hairdreams is nice too.
