I just went to get my hair braided and the lady wasn't having any problems until she got to the back of my head...so she said she couldn't catch it and I had to just take it out!I asked her y my hair was so short in the back and high on the top and she said it was most likely due to how I sleep[my hair gets packed down pretty bad when i sleep]?? u guys have any tips on how to sleep,so my growth will be healthy throught my whole head?
If you sleep on your back, that contributes to breakage. To counteract this you can do a couple of things: baggy(oil then seal with a water-based creamy moisturizer Or watery spritz and then put a thin, plastic cap on and a satin scarf on top) or you can massage that area with castor oil or vitamin e oil for 10-15 mins 2x a day. For maximum results add 5-10 drops of rosemary, tea tree or peppermint oil to your castor oil or vitamin e oil. Also, make sure that you sleep on satin pillowcases. HTH.
