he didnt really crush my dreams... I got my waves started with pomade cause I have nappy hair and brushing to get waves without products seemed to be too much of a commitment... it be taking cats like 6 months to spin ugly and they still gotta work on their dome after that. I know most cats dont like it but pomade in my opinion gets you spinnin quick, like it took me 3 months to get a pattern quick... not a straight one but a pattern. And you can switch to carrot creme after you wave up and do things the harder natural way with no grease... when I switch back I'll see how things go with maintaining the waves and new growth.

Hello everybody Im new to the board but I just have one quick question that I wanted to ask yall. In your opinion how much pomade is too much. On the can it says to use a silver dollar sized amount. When I put in pomade I put in enough to glaze my hair which is about 2 dollar sized amounts and then I brush the product into my hair. When I take the dew rag off, I have a head of frozen waves that, depending on the light... look wet... the only problem is that at times it feels dry. Ive heard people say nickel sized amount... I just wanted to know
