My hair is pretty short and I have a party coming up in November. I'm growing my hair but it still won't be long enough by then. Any ideas?

Define exactly how short?

I can't give you any specific ideas without knowing how long your hair is/will be, but remember that hair extensions in wild colours (maybe to match your dress?) can look really funky no matter how long your hair is. You can get really short ones put it - no problem! Also, glitterspray for hair is always another fallback when you're stuck for ideas.

Hair accessories are the magic answer to everything! If your hair is long enough to hold decorative hairpins or clippies, you've got tons of options-- cute, pretty, or fancy-- as close as the nearest accessories shop. But even if your hair is too short to hold a clip, there are still fancy headbands or scarves, velcro or stick-on jewels, spray or gel with glitter. . . Really you have just as many options with short hair as you do with long, even for formal events, if you have the right accessories and imagination to make it work.
