I want/ need help with my hair.  I recently found out that using head and shoulders everyday to wash your hair is bad.  Well I did that for about 5 years.  And i dont know why i didnt stop using it when my hair started to dry out.  I wouldnt of thought it was the shampoo till i talked to my hair cutter.  Since that day i started using tres-emme and only washing my hair every other day.  I also got hot oil to help repair my hair.  Also i use just water to comb my hair everyday before work. I dont know if this is good or bad.  But i think it makes my hair smell like a wet dog after a while

Im thinking my hair is starting to come out more because of my stupidity and if i didnt shampoo with a dandruff shampoo (dries up scalp) for 5+ years i wouldnt be getting alot of gray hairs and thinning as much, especially at 22 years old.

If anyone can help, and tell me what else i can do to get my hair back to normal cause i want to grow it out.  And if i dont get my unruly dry hair fixed i dont know how its going to look.

I thank you for any help in advance and sorry for all the reading

I had used Head and Shoulders for years with my hair drying and falling out.  I blamed my mother from my boyhood with the numbers of home permanents and setting my hair as much as she did.  When I saw my male cousins, I realized it was male pattern baldness and in the 1970's, there was no Rogaine to stop or slow the loss.
