I have washed my extensions three times on my own since getting them and each time I end up with a lot of static in my hair after blow-drying it. My stylist washed them Friday at my 1-wk check and it came out gorgeous- no static at all. Why can't I get them as smooth as she did?! I'm about to just schedule a weekly appointment with her instead of fussing with it on my own, but that may seem silly to her.

Could it be my water? Would rinsing my hair with bottled water (or some other type?) as a final step before the PH balance help at all? Is there some type of product I could use to help cut down the static?

I am washing at home with the same shampoo and conditioner as the salon uses, and they don't put any product in my hair before or after drying, so i don't know what I am doing wrong.

My hair still looks great even when I wash it myself, maybe I just need more practice to get it perfect.

Any insight appreciated!

Is it static cling or puffiness?   Puffiness is a sign on bad hair.  As I stated before, I think Cinderella is not great quality stuff.

It is just static, no puffiness at all.
