I am pondering the idea of hair ectensions - can anyone out there give me any advice based on their experience and what did it cost you? Anyone in the Houston area suggest anyone I can go to?

Hey Humph! I just wanted to share my experience with extensions and hopefully help you out. I got Great length extensions a couple of weeks ago. I had longer then shoulder length blonde hair that was on the thin side. I now have hair to the middle of my back and am amazed at how it looks and how beautiful the quality of the hair is!! I know that Great Length extensions are more then others, but hair quality is amazing and they last longer then others. I needed three rows and it was around 1,000, but i don't regret it at all. Check out their website, they have a toll free number to find stylists in your area that do them. Also where they bonded the hair is almost undetectable, you really have to look to find them. good luck!

Amber,I just read your post on your experience with extensions. It's been a couple of weeks that you have had them and I was wondering if you are still happy with them. I am thinking about having extensions but I am worried that my real hair would become damaged from having them put in. Have you noticed any damage or breakage? I am real skeptical when a hairdresser or someone who sells extensions say that they do not damage hair. I was just wanting someone else s opinion.

Sorry for all of the questions.
Thanks,
Ashley

Hi Ashleey..I'm sorry about not responding, but I havent looked at this page in awhile..I have had my extensions now going on two months and I'm still thrilled with them. I have not had any damge that I am aware of. I would highly suggest the great lengths method. They have a webpage and you will be able to contact someone in your area that does them. The quality of the hair is unbelivable! They also have beautiful colors that will match your hair. I really don't see anyway that they have caused any damage at all. They are attached to fine strands of my hair..I do however see how some of the other methods could damage...some people do a strand by strand method with glue and its nasty! Anyway, the bonds on these are practically invisible. I wear my hair up and in a ponytail..swim.ect..They will cost more, but I have not had any regrets so far..I am very happy!! Let me know if you have any other questions!! Amber
