They may be different, but there are some similarities between the two.
 
Both became famous when young.
Both are known for their style.
Both take risks with their looks.
Both are singers (OK, at least Rihanna is a singer)
 
Both Rihanna and Posh Spice seemed to capture the moment when they first came out.  Although I will say that I believe Rihanna has more talent.
 
They are both beautiful and look amazing with short hair, IMHO

     I can't comprehend the point of a pretty gal getting a short haircut, and leaving the so much front hair that facial features are obliterated. It does look decent from the back. Overall, though, the cut is rather silly, IMO. Best, Bob Sleepy

Looks stylish and modern. I think these styles usually frame the face nicely. If anything, the back is the downfall.

I think it's a great fun hairstyle in someone young like Rihanna. Wouldn't be good to be 30 and have the same style.

I certainly agree with you there Kramer. "Shut Up and Drive" is my favorite Rihanna video of all time (and the hairstyle is also the best I've ever seen her with).
