QuoteReplyTopic: SUPA: Guide to 4-D Waves Posted: February 07 2008 at 9:00pm
During my current wolfing session (week 4 of 14) I realized I was having troubles getting my crown to spiral and getting my top/rightside to connect to my crown. So I tried combing it, brushing it with a hard brush but nothing was working. So I decided to brush that area sideways. And I started to see results instantaneously. I started to brush that area, then I started brushing my sides sideways, then my top sideways-forward. By doing this I made my waves pop out.
Now I've only been brushing this way for the past 3days so it's still in it's experimental stage. But from what I've seen so far everything is good. I'm not sure if this will work for all hair textures. I have a medium-thick texture which is easy to sideway brush without trying to tame a new pattern.
Now I'm sure most of you want pictures for visual proof but your going to have to wait until March 1st. The best way to describe it is to look at C-Ridge's waves. I believe however the thicker the texture the better it will look. On the flipside the thicker the texture the longer it will take you to get connections. Fortunately Im not going for connections just unique (never duplicated or replicated)

SUPA OUT!!!!!
Talk about contradicting myself but here's what 3days of sideways brushing has done for me. I should get my leftside to look like my rightside in a few days or so.

"FOR BETTER CONNECTIONS BRUSH SLOWER WITH LESS PRESSURE"
Based on the brushing chart you
should brush your Top-FORWARD, Sides-ANGLE, Back-DOWN right? Well that
has never worked for me so I always had problems with an area or two
not connecting. So I started to brush my right-top sideways but still
towards my hairline. Im not flipping my brush around or anything like
that I just brush from my crown but in a curved circular manner. Its
really not that hard.

Thats how I brush my top left and top right no wonder why your top look good , I didn't get what you was saying at first I thought you meant like you brush your hair sideways from the left, over the top, to the right lol.
