Yes I Am 19,Not that age matters,Lol. Anyways,I have short hair with blonde highlights,My hair is a little past my ears, and I would love to have a change,I would like to get a Perm,But am so afraid I will end up looking like a poodle.I havent had a perm since I was really little, and My Hair was longer. So I guess my Question is,Would My hair look totally terrible If I got a perm with short hair.

It depends. You have to be very careful since you already have highlights. There are perms out there for colored hair but I haven`t had much luck with them (still had a lot of breakage). A lot depends on the texture of your hair. If it is thick and in good shape, you might have fun with a perm. If you don`t want it to look a lot shorter, you might opt for a body wave or a texture treatment. If you have fine and or thin hair, don`t even consider a perm.

I also highlight my hair......frequently. While I was growing it out, I discovered that a gentle perm was much kinder to my hair than daily all over heat styling. Redken`s `Trust` perm is my favorite. It never left my hair looking or feeling damaged. Whatever you do, avoid those small rods. Small rods = Poodle curls.
