If your hair is long enough, you could pin it up on top of your head in a messy bun with pieces hanging down around your face. You could also try putting half of it up and curl it and clip it. Check out some of the hairdo websites including this one. I think they have a whole section devoted to updos. HairDos.com is also a good one.

wear it half up and half down with your scalp making a line across the back of your head.I do this a lot it looks really good

Clip top half up with a barette, then gather rest in a ponytail, twist it round into a neat bun (braid it if it`s long enough) and secure with a scrunchie - looks great

My wife puts her hair in a braid, coils and pins it on the back of her hair. A bonus is, if you do it while it is damp, when you take it down you will have terrific waves.
